Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - a Canadian and American musician and singer. She has more than twenty albums. The music of DiFranco is classified as folk, alternative and rock but she also draws influences of hip-hop and jazz. The widely regarded feminist icon Grammy winner Ani DiFranco is the mother of the DIY movement and is among the pioneers to establish her own label 1990. DiFranco was the child of Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They began their relationship in The Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father is Italian descent, and her mother is from Montreal. Ani diFranco was the composer and singer of the song 32 Flavors.
