Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) she is an English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 with her irresistible electronic pop tracks "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has a unique soprano scream, and an aptitude for writing emotional songs with uplifting lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she is at forefront of contemporary mainstream pop as well as arty independent music. In the end, she signed a major-label deal to Polydor Records and began making preparations for her debut album.
